About the owner

The idea of southern natives braiding salon came to me one day after noticing that I could braid hair pretty well. Growing up I watched my great grandmother styling hair out of the back of her kitchen, after constantly being a shampoo girl. I asked if she would teach me how to braid and 13 years later I decided why not go professional. The constant fear of failing constantly went through my mind so I went to my bestfriend and said "should I start my own business?" . Her response was "why wouldn't you"! Going forward my goal is to allow people to feel good once leaving my chair.
